How can you support us?
No charge is made for the services of a work place chaplain, but contributions are welcomed. NIM is reliant on these donations and the support of churches, charities and individuals, to sustain the services we offer.
There are a number of ways you can support the work of NIM
- Consider becoming a workplace chaplain. If you feel this work is for you, your first port of call is to have an informal conversation with the Team Leader. For more information, see 'Contact Us'.
- Invite us to come to your group or church (during worship, or otherwise) to talk about our work and some of the issues faced by people in their working lives.
- Come to the Annual General Meeting and Service of Thanksgiving and Rededication of Chaplains. Apart from the interesting speaker and free refreshments, there is a chance to influence NIMs future direction. The AGM is normally in May each year. Details will appear on the news page of this website.
- Become a friend of the Chaplaincy. You pay a small subscription and you receive regular information about what we are doing and invitations to events.
- Make a donation. It's more than money to us: it's a declaration that you are taking an interest in what we do. Needless to say though, we can't exist without money.
